Holidays!

We had a great round of Christmas's this year! Kids program was fun at church!
Noah was Joseph with Ava as Mary

Parker was a sheep with Eli and Reid

Ryder was a wiseman with Noah and Jackson

Miss Rory and her crew!

Fun times!  We did Christmas Eve church, ate at Village Inn for supper and headed home for Daddy to read The Night Before Christmas and watch the Polar Express.  Matching pjs as usual!  Christmas morning at home with lots of fun stuff.  Headed to the Rokes side to celebrate.  Then on the 26th we went to the Scott's and Connolly's.  Minor mishap with Ryder jumping off a bed and splitting the back of his head open.  Required 2 staples at the Independence ER.

Good times!!

Thanksgiving Round 2!

We had Thanksgiving at my parents.  Uncle Steve fried a turkey and Scott brought wings to fry as well!  Lots and lots of food and good naps!  We lost Great Uncle Burt but had fun talking about his many adventures.  He was the first to go to college on my mom's side.  He went after WWII at UNI and because of the GI bill, campus ran out of housing.  He lived in the football stadium (Latham Stadium).  The guys became known as the stadium hall boys:). He graduated with a teaching degree and taught in Western Iowa for awhile.  He then went to law school at Iowa and moved up to the Twin Cities.  He married Auntie Jill (she's from the East Coast) and as a kid we went on a lot of cool adventures in the summer up in the cities.  They had a really cool old house with had lots of knooks and cranies.  I ❤️'d it as a kid.  I was lucky enough to squeeze in a stop while I was up in the cities this past May.  So glad I did!  Here are more pics of the last month...

October is flying!

We have been crazy busy!  Flag football to soccer to daily life to strep throat!  Noah loved being coached by daddy for flag football.  Soccer is wrapping up next week and Noah has learned a lot!  He likes school and is challenging him which is great.  Ryder has transitioned into school and loves learning.  He loves to play his little super hero figures.  His imagination is great.  Parker is a little follower of his brother's!  Jumping to wrestling to snuggling is all what Parker loves to do.   Scott has been super busy with school and football and the house.  Everything has been torn out and fixed.  Hoping to get the Sheetrock repaired in the next few days and get another base cabinet in.  Once that's in, we can measure for our countertop for the island!!  Here are some pics of the progress:

Life with 3 busy boys!!

Noah--1st grade!  Loves anything to do with a ball and being active.  So proud of himself when he reads, likes math, not super fond of writing.

Daycare all by himself on Tuesdays!! Talking machine!  Loves to drive his "car" and his lawn mower.  Enjoys jumping on the trampoline by himself...too crazy with the brothers!  Starting to think about potty training!  Likes to fall asleep with mommy and then goes in his crib!

Started year 1 of preschool!  Loves Mrs. Simmons and going to school with Daddy and Noah.  Knows his colors, recognizes 1-10 and enjoys getting read to.  Loves being outside and playing.  Takes good care of his little brother and big brother!

Life is crazy being back in school.  Hang on for the ride!
