We had Thanksgiving at my parents. Uncle Steve fried a turkey and Scott brought wings to fry as well! Lots and lots of food and good naps! We lost Great Uncle Burt but had fun talking about his many adventures. He was the first to go to college on my mom's side. He went after WWII at UNI and because of the GI bill, campus ran out of housing. He lived in the football stadium (Latham Stadium). The guys became known as the stadium hall boys:). He graduated with a teaching degree and taught in Western Iowa for awhile. He then went to law school at Iowa and moved up to the Twin Cities. He married Auntie Jill (she's from the East Coast) and as a kid we went on a lot of cool adventures in the summer up in the cities. They had a really cool old house with had lots of knooks and cranies. I ❤️'d it as a kid. I was lucky enough to squeeze in a stop while I was up in the cities this past May. So glad I did! Here are more pics of the last month...
